Eric Meineke
Eric Douglas Meincke is currently pursuing a Doctor of Music in Conducting at the Indiana University Jacobs School of Music. He also serves as an Associate Instructor in the Jacobs School and as the Director of Music for the First United Church in Bloomington. During his musical career, Meincke has studied with renowned musicians such as Christoph Eschenbach, James Ross, Bevan Keating, Betsy Burleigh, Dominick DiOrio, Walter Huff, and William Weinert.

Meincke has years of experience conducting various ensembles around the world, including as Assistant Conductor of the Second Presbyterian Church Adult Choir, with guest conducting appearances in London, Montreal, and Barcelona. Meincke also has numerous immersive experiences, conducting ensembles like the Arkansas Symphony Orchestra, the National Youth Orchestra of the United States of America, and Cantores Musicae Antiquae at Florida State University.

​Meincke graduated with a Master of Music in Conducting from the Eastman School of Music and a Bachelor of Music Education from Florida State University.
Meincke is also the recipient of multiple awards like the Career Encouragement Certificate from the American Prize in Conducting, the Arkansas Governor's Award for Musical Excellence, and the John Phillip Sousa Award.
